cake smash SESSIONS

Cake Smash Sessions are a great way to celebrate babies first birthday, they are so much fun and full of all the things babies love, it’s like a hour of messy play!
We start with a few portrait photos of baby without the cake , then bring it in for little ones to squish between their fingers, taste, smack with a wooden spoon and basically enjoy.

Some babies will dig straight in and start eating and smashing, while others may need some encouragement to touch the new textures, but its always fun!
You can choose a set up featured below in the gallery or from my social media, or if you have another colour or idea in mind just let me know, but all my set ups will be within my style as featured here.

All cakes are custom made by a brilliant local baker with a 5 star hygiene rating, she matches each cake to the set up and not only do they look amazing they taste great too!

We finish up with tub time at the end of the session, a fun way for little one to clean up after they finish with their cake and to grab some more adorable pictures with bubbles and splashing in my mini roll top bath!

I provide everything needed for these sessions, from the cake to the balloons and props right down to the outfits so you really don’t need to worry about anything but bringing your little one for a good time & some gorgeous photos.

I try to keep my set ups timeless and as you can see below I tend to avoid any cartoon type themes and go with certain colour pallets or seasonal themes.
